Morning all! And thanks! I’ll have another go at an intermediate video today (Sunday).

We’ve left three trees — the holly, a tall mature ash, and a clump of hazel. The latter we coppiced a bit but if we leave it there it’ll be for the sake of the wild birds.

And you’re all right about Graham. The soil in the garden is good, but is a mess of roots, so he’s having to use a mattock rather than a spade to get it going. Twenty-five years of neglect makes for heavy going.

Looks like there are trees standing to the left and center back of the picture, sfmarty. I agree with Gary’s assessment of Graham! He’s made a very thorough clearing of the underbrush.
