New routines

After yesterday’s more or less constant soft rain the skies cleared and this morning I woke to a cold world.  I sat for a while waiting for the sun to come up and for the heating to switch on before starting out on the errands for the day.

I have to go to the doctor’s to pick up that pesky fluoxetine and then we are set on a proper shopping trip to Sainsbury’s.  I think I’ve just about regained my catering routine, switching from one bloke to two.  That was more difficult than I’d thought.

And, to my great pleasure, it feels as though my settling in process, adjusting to living in Wales, is almost done and that, after a few false starts, it’s now worth setting up my poetry workbook once more, feeding on a new world and a new landscape.  And a new daily writing routine to go with it.

I was beginning to wonder.
