Dozy day

Slept very poorly last night and am in consequence about as dozy today as I can be.  I keep fighting the sleep away for fear of perpetuating the cycle but just now I feel like my sleep motor is running 12 hours  out of synch.

Ain’t it wonderful, though, to be able to sleep when it pleases you?

Yes it is John. The last year I worked I suffered from frequent sinus infections which kept me up half the night. I was always in a deep sleep when it was time to get up and get ready for work. Then by the middle of the afternoon I was fighting to stay awake and do my job. It was with pleasure I reached the age when I could retire. A woman’s gotta do what a woman’s gotta do. :)

  2. I agree! A little after-lunch doze is just my cup of tea, metaphorically speaking. ;-)

  4. I slept poorly last night, too, and am drowsy at work today.

    Sweet dreams!

I love being ‘semi’ retired myself. Four days off and I do what I choose.

Although – I find that if I take a nap. I feel kind of yucky when I wake up. Takes me a good hour or so to get straightened away.

  6. I try so hard not to nap tho. I feel like lead if I do.

  7. Nothing better than a nap! Without guilt!
