No gale, Mary Lee, just the gentle breezes of spring will clear the fish away until nothing lingers but the waft of early lilies of the valley. But Dolly might complain about the draft though!

Hugs from Hamburg, Satalya

PS. John, I've sent you two pictures!

320 miles -each- way? hard driving.

I must've worded it wrong, Marty. The drive was 159-ish miles each way, amounting to 320-ish for the whole round trip. That is, we've now decided, as much as I can do in one day.

Funny, and not terribly attractive, either, how the memories of 'fish' linger on and on, long after the feast has been devoured. Maybe open the windows and pray for a short gale?'
That does seem an awful lot of driving, John, for just a day, especially if you have to traverse any little wee, narrow lanes. Hope most was on the big roads and well-marked. Hope it was worth it. Can't wait for the details. Also, I'm really sorry that the wandering son wasn't welcomed back with open arms, exactly!

Long drives tire me out too. I loved the Stargate Atlantis series, you're in for a treat. Did you know there will be a new Stargate series this fall? This one will be starring Robert Carlyle. Can't wait.

We thoroughly enjoyed episode 1, Shirley, and far more than when it was broadcast here. Back then we didn't appreciate it too much, and stopped watching. Our loss.

We'd heard abt Robert Carlyle in the new Stargate and, with more excitement, of RDA's return. No news on the nature of Carlyle's role. If he's doing the extreme (alien) baddy we may have some difficulty with him, remembering his horrid parts in Cracker, and as the bad man in a recent James Bond. On the other hand, if he's doing a Hamish MacBeth then we'll be hooked before he opens his mouth!
