The guy in the corner cut his grass with a perfectly tuned petrol mower.
The woman across spent the entire afternoon in her front garden trimming and weeding, helped by her little grandson.
The guy next-door hammered canes in to support his new plants.
Graham creaked and squeaked on his stepladder, applying the last planks to the ceiling in the hall. There was a creak and a clatter and a shriek for help. I rushed to pick up the impromptu timber support that’d slipped to the floor.
I like it when I’m needed.
