A giant stagger

April 14, 2009 · 6 Comments

Absolutely whacked this evening after a busy day spent picking up DIY and salad gardening supplies.  And ‘proper’ shopping, of course.

Can’t complain about the weather–it’s been glorious.  Just that my poor old body has had a full work-out after a lousy night.  I seem to be unable to sleep for more than an hour at a time.  I drop off almost instantly, then wake, drift, wake…

No matter.  It’s still a glorious evening, and I shall go sit in the garden in the gloaming and look at the two little rows of organic grow bags waiting for me to get going on them tomorrow.  One tiny step for man but a giant stagger for a portly poet.

Reading on James Joyce once more.
