More tomorrow

Graham finished the cat-alley-o today, applying a second coat of dark oak staining preservative to the two gates.  And very smart they are, too.  There are now three plants in pots, and we’ll be off one day next week to acquire a couple more, along with tubs and containers suited to the narrow garden.  We’ll be getting timber decking planks when Graham’s ready to estimate and apply pine ceiling cladding to finish off ceilings throughout the house–there’s a stiff delivery charge applied regardless of quantity so it pays to get material in bulk.

Other than that the sun has shone, the sky has been blue, we’ve all been happy, and hope you have too.

More tomorrow.

  1. The cough must be quieter. That’s good. Spring is coming for you guys, but not for me. I’m off to Alaska next week. Enjoy the flowers for me.

  2. I’m fine but G is miserable. His computer is in the shop. If he didn’t have two others to play with, I’d feel sorry for him.

    You sound grand.
